Protein, Green and Berry! 3 quick & healthy breakfast smoothies | Daria Marie

Here are the exact recipes for each of the smoothies so that you can recreate them in your own kitchen!

These can all be easily doubled or tripled to make more servings or if you want to take an extra supply of clean and green energy on the go!

PROTEIN:
– 1 chopped banana
– ½ cup chocolate soy milk
– ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
– 1 teaspoon all-natural (homemade) almond butter
– a pinch (or more!) of ground cinnamon
– a teaspoon of chia seeds

Feel free to substitute the almond butter for sunflower butter if you’re allergic to nuts, or simply add in a tablespoon of organic protein powder. You can substitute the soy and almond milk for normal milk, but it will be higher in calories and not so good for you.

GREEN:
– 3 peeled and chopped kiwis
– 1 large handful of spinach
– ¼ of a large cucumber (diced)
– the juice of 1 lime
– 1 cup chilled coconut water

To add an extra green kick of antioxidants, blend with ½ a teaspoon of spirulina or chlorella powder. Squeeze in lemon juice for more zing!

BERRY:

– 1 ½ cup of mixed frozen berries
– ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
– ½ cup coconut water
– 1 teaspoon chia seeds

You can add in some goji berries before blending for super antioxidant power.
