With a goal of bringing nutrition to the world. Lisa encourages us to be a slightly irrationally optimistic in our approach to big goals. From an initial setback that cut her Peace Corp deployment short, she found a way to still have an impact by starting a super foods company in San Francisco.

Lisa began working on Kuli Kuli while in the Peace Corps. As a volunteer in her village’s health center, she gained a first-hand understanding of the common nutritional challenges faced in West African villages. Lisa previously served as the Communications Director at Mosaic and has written political briefings for President Obama in the White House, served as a United Nations Environment Programme Youth Advisor, and worked at an impact investment firm in India.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
